this is a website where people can sign up and post different news cast. then once to link is posted other people are able to see it and make comments about it.

now you dont need an account to be able to read the stories but you do need to create an account to post comments, its free to just do simple things, but if you enjoy fark alot you can pay a fee and be able to go and total fark, which give you more options, like being able to see news stories more often and more up to date

How ever within you postings you can link related topics and that allow other users to use those links.

Also Fark is a great way to have a stream of talking with in a online community.
